How Lifted Truck Financing Works

By the HGreg Lifted build team · July 8, 2026 · 5 min read

Financing a lifted truck raises a fair question: are you financing the truck, the build, or both? At HGreg Lifted, qualified buyers finance the complete vehicle, the truck and the professionally completed build, together in one loan. That means one payment, one approval, and no juggling a separate loan for the lift, wheels, and tires.

Why custom builds need the right lender

Not every lender is comfortable with modified vehicles. A truck with a lift kit, larger wheels, and aftermarket parts can look different to a bank than a stock truck. Working with a dealer that finances custom builds every day means your application goes to lenders who understand the value of a professional build.

What lenders look at

  • Credit history and score
  • Income and debt-to-income ratio
  • Down payment or trade-in equity
  • The vehicle itself, its year, mileage, and condition

A trade-in can help, too. We accept trades in any condition and can apply the value toward your purchase, which can lower the amount you finance.

Getting approved online

You don't have to visit a dealership. Apply and e-sign from your phone, and once you're approved we handle the paperwork and title work in all 50 states. Your truck is delivered to your door, registered and ready to drive.

Financing is subject to credit approval, lender requirements, vehicle eligibility, and applicable terms. Down payment may be required, and not all applicants will qualify.
