One of the first questions on any build is how much lift you actually need. The right answer depends less on looks and more on how you drive, tow, and where you go. Here is a simple way to think about it.
Leveling kit (1 to 2.5 inches)
A leveling kit raises the front to match the rear and clears slightly larger tires. It keeps the ride close to stock and is ideal if you want a subtle, functional look and easy daily driving.
Mid lift (3 to 4 inches)
A mid-range lift adds real presence and clears 33- to 35-inch tires on most platforms. It is a popular sweet spot that balances stance, capability, and street manners.
Tall lift (6 inches and up)
A larger lift makes the boldest statement and clears 35- to 37-inch tires, great for off-road capability and a commanding look. On bigger lifts, gearing and tuning matter more to keep the truck driving right.
Match the tires and the tuning
Lift height and tire size go together, and the build should include proper alignment and, on larger setups, the right gearing. That is the difference between a lift that drives great and one that fights you. We spec every build so it drives, tows, and handles the way it should.
